Grizzly Deaths on the Rise
Trophy hunters have taken a new toll on the grizzly population. This year, 381 grizzlies where killed, 87 percent of which where killed by trophie hunters, according to statistics released by the David Suzuki Foundation.
These statistics also account for deaths caused by motor accidents, conservation officers and poaching.

What have I learned through ICT? What have I accomplished?
At the beginning of this ICT class I had no idea how to create a blog, or really any idea what a blog really consisted of. This has been probably the most substantial learning point.
Runescape – Botting is Back? Did It Ever Leave?
Last week, A very popular Runescape bot has returned with the ability to successfully inject Runescape. Injection was thought to have been removed by Jagex when they scrambled all the item codes in the game. This was supposed to get rid of 98% of bots, the remaining 2% being reflection bots (Bots that use color recognition). This recently “fixed” bot, as of 10:37 AM on February 29 2012, is not working. However this bot was running successfully as of yesterday.
What is the problem with bots? The #1 problem people have with bots is what they do to the Runescape economy. They mine, fish, cut, and farm so much that the value of items such as coal, drop substantially.
Problem #2 It makes it very hard for legitimate players to compete with bots, potentially causing people to quit the game.
Will bots ever be removed?
Jagex will keep trying, and updating to keep 1 step ahead of the bots. But people underestimate the intelligence of bot scripters. There will always be at least 1 working bot at any given time within Runescape.
Mass Effect 3 Review
The combat in Mass Effect 3 has definitely been refined to a level of brilliance. When you take those Reapers the gunplay has to be more than average. Here, it is heavy and pounding. The barking fire from your rifle tears apart the enemies as if you are tearing tissue paper. You are able to move faster and smoothly, moving from one cover to another. This is something that is really an improvement over the previous installment. Combat is basically not extremely different form Mass Effect 2. However, it is refined by a massive scale. The squad orders are much more flexible and you can now find it simple to ask your combat comrades to help you. And, the upgrading system is much more improved. You will simply find the remarkable omni-blade a powerful weapon. It is an energy sword that generates form the wrist device of Shepard and devastates the enemy with a destructive melee attack. Use the biotic to pull the shield from their hands, roll a grenade at them or blast them out with a rifle.
There is a lot to Mass Effect 3 that puts is miles ahead of the previous version in the series. This is certainly something from Electronic Arts that you cannot afford to keep aside. You must save the galaxy so make sure to get Mass Effect 3 now!

Bukkit Officially Joins Mojang!
Sources: Minecraftforum.net
After many months of providing an amazing plug-in service for the Minecraft community, Bukkit has officially joined the Mojang team! There are some immediately obvious benefits – official support for the game, better resources to develop Bukkit further – as well as the ability to develop tools, mod support and more which can be officially integrated into the game!
Bukkit developer EvilSeph stated numerous reasons for the move, including a desire to have better mod support for the game, that was more easily accessible to the community at large.
EvilSeph said:
From that meeting, a partnership was born. We here at Curse are proud to have supported Bukkit, and to do whatever it took to help them continue doing what they did best – making an incredible set of tools for Minecraft players. We very much look forward to seeing a Bukkit-driven multiplayer experience in the coming days, and wish them the very best with their future at Mojang! You can read EvilSeph’s full write-up right here, as well as Mojang’s official statement on their home page – check it out!
Bukkit started in December of 2010, with the intent to develop tools to help run and extend SMP servers. Response to their project idea was massively overwhelming – so much so that their hosting server almost outright failed numerous times. Around this time, Curse & Multiplay’s Steve Hartland offered their support, to make sure Bukkit was able to keep moving forward. While the Bukkit team had often dreamed of developing a proper Mod API (and certainly had the skill-set for it), they lacked the experience of handling something of that magnitude. Mojang, upon meeting with them at Minecon, discussed their ideas and the future of both Bukkit and Minecraft, and from there, the rest is history.
Once again, a HUGE “congratulations” to the Bukkit team from everyone here at Curse and the Minecraft Forum! Your hard work and perseverance definitely earned it!
